Community Day of the Dead Celebration
October 29, 2009 (Last Thursday on Alberta)

Inspired by Mexican traditions of el Día de los Muertos, this community celebration in honor of our beloved dead features a solemnly festive procession up Alberta Street, past community altars and shows at Alberta Street galleries.

This call goes out for collaborators to help organize, publicize, and staff this year's Day of the Dead celebration on Alberta Street.

There will be an organizing meeting on Tuesday, September 1 (location TBD). Whether you can make the meeting or not, please drop us a line at if you'd like to get involved.
