: ART GRANTS :

Awards begin May 15th, apply early for consideration. Grants will be
determined by committee of your peers, so best to be honest with your
request. Projects that demonstrate resourcefulness are favored over
those that just request a large amount of funds.

Awards for art projects at SOAK* generally cover material goods only,
and do not include labor, travel, housing or performance. Performance
artist and troupes might consider applying for itemized material goods
used in their craft (but not for performance, travel or housing). There
is a strong preference for interactive arts and projects that might
return to future events.
